![]() Just home from a truly remarkable evening in the gallery Remarkable because of people, not paintings, though there was a painting involved. A family walked in. The 14 year old daughter said "there's more stuff here than when we were here before." I tried to remember them. Looked at her 12 year old brother. Then I knew.. I said, "You were here two years ago. And your son sat in this chair, which was over there. And do you remember that painting?" I pointed to a piece hanging in the corner. With a printed out copy of a blog post next to it, dated August 15, 2014. Memorable because there was a story to the canvas. One of full circle. That was completed again, even more so, tonight. To understand what I'm talking about, I invite you to first read the old blog, linked below. Tomorrow I will share more with you about tonight, but I want you to have a little bit of time to absorb the beginning of the story, before I share the end, perhaps a new beginning in itself. Because as Harry Chapin used to sing, "All my life's a circle..." Happy reading. Here's the link. August 15, 2014. A lovely night. . xo Mimi PS - and here's the Harry Chapin song in case you've forgotten it. Or maybe need knew it. BTW did you know I had a cat named Harry, years ago, named for him?! How's that for some Mimi trivia?!
